Awwwww...I know...we all hate rules but to make our stay enjoyable and peaceful at the same time, we have to set some rules (don't worry, we'll make it fun):
1) This is just a Glee Role-Playing Site. We’re not official, and we’re not Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Dianna Agron, etc. in real life. We’re not paid to do this (though we wish we were). If you don’t believe that…then you’re not old enough to be here. :-P
2) You must have an experience in role-playing, meaning you must be at least literate or higher. Or if you don't have any experience, you have to be at least willing to learn and adapt to the role-playing rules set in this board. If you have any questions about this, you can ask the admins anytime.
3) Keep the RP PG-13. It’s just like the show. No killing and extreme violence. No mature RP allowed, as it is indicated in the Proboards Terms of Service.
4) No "God-moding" (GM)/Power-playing. Meaning, you can't control other character's action. You can only control your own character. You have to wait for the other character to do his/her action before you can do whatever you want your character to do. No smut please. Again, if you have any questions about this, you can always ask us, the admins.
5) Be creative and descriptive as much as possible. Avoid one or two words reply. Minimum reply is 2 paragraphs. This applies to all characters, Canon or Original.
Avoid replies like this: "What?" Rachel asked.
Instead, post something more descriptive like this: "What?" Rachel asked with her right eyebrow raised, and her right hand on her hip. Her foot was tapping impatiently as she waited for an answer.
Check your grammar and spelling. Mistakes are normal, but try to edit your posts if you see some. If you won't do it, we, the staff, may edit them ourselves. Now don't get offended if we have to remind you about your RP posts, we're just keeping the site High Quality.
6) No multiple accounts allowed. (But this is negotiable, you just have to ask us for permission nicely and politely).
7) And absolutely NO posing as another member, especially as a staff member. Posing as a regular member is just as serious. This is just wrong, unethical and crossing the line. Should you be caught posing as a member, this will lead to a serious sanction, being banned from the site a high possibility.
8) If you have been inactive without notice (i.e. not posting at the Away Thread) for a month and you are playing a character, we have the right to give your character to a member who is willing to play, or put up the character as available (this including the original characters). If you are however playing a major canon character (i.e. the Glee Club Kids, Mr. Schuester, Sue, etc.) you are only given 2 weeks. If you have been inactive within those 2 weeks, I will give your character to another member, or put the character up as available.
9) Respect other members, and their opinions. Be friendly to everyone, especially the newbies. If we (the staffs) receive any complain from a new member about being ignored or being bullied, we would give you a warning. If you continue to do your previous actions, your account will be suspended for days or weeks depending on the gravity of the case.
10) Don't forget to have fun!!! ;D
11) If you disobey any of the rules listed above, you will be given a warning. Three strikes, and you're out.
