Tina was anything but used to buying Christmas gifts. She had been with Mike for about 5 or so months now, but couldn't come up with an idea. She loved to shop, but then again it was easy to go to the mall and pick out what she liked. Going to the mall and picking out something for someone else always made her nervous. Last year, even though she wasn't even with Artie at the time, in hopes that he would forgive her she bought a cushion for his wheelchair seat, new gloves for wheeling, and wheels that light up for the front 2 wheels. He accepted them, and he really liked them. She obviously couldn't get anything like that for Mike, yet alone an "I'm sorry" present. She had to get the perfect gift. She wandered in and out of the stores, seeing kids she recognized from school working and looking at her strangely as she wandered around. Maybe something would just pop out at her that would make her think, "MIKE!". Nothing did. She kept wandering until she figured it out. She went to the music store in the mall, bought a book full of amazing duets, new and old, in sheet music form. Then she decided cleats would be something he needed also. His were worn from this season. A plaid fedora so he can add more of his amazing hat moves to each dance and she was set. The book wasn't just so they could sing together though. She knew how nervous he was about singing in glee club, so she figured giving him singing lessons would be the best present. Plus it would allow them to spend time together, and maybe even sing together at regionals if they worked at it. Sam and Quinn were moving up in the glee club, and she didn't want to be the only couple who couldn't really sing together. Although she would love to dance with him on stage, and she was good, she knew Brittany was better and that meant that they would never be allowed to perform together. Maybe he could teach her how to dance also. She quickly ran into her car after making her purchases. She had to hurry over to Mike's house. She was scheduled to have Dim Sum with his mom... again. Hopefully no chicken feet involved this time.
